You know what’s the most awesome thing about programming? TYPOS! I tell you, they are great. The whole controller script I wrote didn’t go through to the database because of a typo. Man I almost let out a crazy laugh when I noticed After I removed it everything worked just fine and I crumbled in front of the computer letting out a huge sigh

I have a habit of talking to myself when I write programs or scripts or something. I’m like “hu? What? Why? Ah, that’s it!…or not…damn…how about???” the whole time Not as bad at work as I’d be at home, but I definitely am sometimes loosing the fight against the urge of doing that. Actually I think 99,99% of the people working in IT are like that. Our genius that gives us the possibility of handling computers but does not permit us to actually stay sane.

Is it just me or am I sounding a bit geeky lately? I’m talking a lot about work recently, so I guess that’s only normal? Well, ok, it’s not that someone working in the field of nutrition or something would be talking about food 24/7, but that’s a bit different, right? Everyone, let’s face it, working in IT is so much cooler I know I always complain about it, but well, I do like it

Btw, I did make that cake yesterday. Do you know the term “dig in”? yes? That’s totally what my sister did It was a really tiny cake, and we started eating it, while it was still a bit warm. First we started at one side, and then suddenly my sister totally stabbed the middle of the cake Not as bad as I make it sound, but she still made a tiny hole into it I wanted to lol so much

I’m in a really good mode lately, aren’t I? I surprise myself Well, everyone seems to be so down lately, I just have to be totally anti and be super happy Just wait for next week, I’m sure it’s not a too long phase

This morning I actually felt like the good mood was totally gone, because I was really tired, and in the morning I didn’t feel like getting anywhere near anything that had to do with work. Though after that big sigh and typo removal I felt much better. Still doesn’t work properly that controller, but whatever~ at the moment it’s just for preparation anyway, cause I recently got some news from someone who’s working on the project with me, and he’s probably going to throw over the whole file structure
