I bought something = post

fever pitch + fight clubMy sister and I went to a travel agency today because of our trip to london in september (people who follow me on twitter probably got some hints of this). We didn’t book anything, just got some information. We are going to have a little trip planning meeting next week to see what exactly we are going to do about flight and hotel and bla.

This will actually be the first time I’m going to be on a plane and the first trip I take with someone I actually want to spent time with (the other times I’ve been abroard were with school and let’s face it: school trips =/= fun). So yeah, I’m looking forward to it.

Then we went shopping for a bit and I bought two new books: Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk and Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby. I just added Fight Club to my amazon wishlist this morning, saw it in the shop later and bought it. Same with Fever Pitch, though I ment to read it for a while now, since I love Nick Hornby. I don’t care much vor Arsenal (not yet anyway), but we’ll see.

My sisters comment on me buying Fever Pitch: “Now you might actually get it” (seeing as I came out as football fan in the last post)… AND I was gonna write a paragraph on how she is making fun of me now (she isn’t actually serious and I’m not annoyed yet), but I don’t feel like it anymore…so I’m going to go and sleep now.

guess what…

20100612-01…I went shopping again. Three tank tops, a scarf and some shorts. The girl at H&M forgot to remove that savety thingy from the shorts, which is why they are not in the picture. They need to be taken back to the store, so they can take it off.

But really, if you are ever short on cash, you can go to the H&M in Ingolstadt and just steal something. No one actually cares if the alarm goes off, it happens all the time anyway, so you can just walk on out of the shop without paying.

…but for the record, I did pay.

Well, now I’m back home and I don’t feel like doing anything at all. It’s kinda been a problem as of late, I don’t really have anything to do. Not that I had much before, but you know, I have even less to do during summer…

uhm, right… useless post, written just for the sake of posting…

an island on 32 discs…

I bought more Lost dvds last week, I’m too lazy to download. You know what I like about Lost? I lik Ben. Ben is really cool. I want my own Ben.

just to get rid of it…

I don’t have anything to say, so I’ll just post a picture of the last money I spent:

new DVDs
Lost Season 1, Fringe Season 1, Terminator: S.C.C. Season 2

I’m going out to buy stuff later today, so in a few hours it won’t be the last I bought anymore…but then again, that’s not really the point, is it?

The Fringe Box is kinda awesome btw…

being entertaining

20100508-01 It doesn’t really sound good, that I basically just wanted to dump some pictures on you and then vanish into the deep secret world of real life again, does it?

It’s also interesting that I refer to my real life as secret, not the online one. But really what do you know about me? I could be an overweight, hairy accountant who lives in his mothers basement with a bucket of Vaseline on his nightstand…right, I hope I burned that nice image right into your brain.

This is the second version of this post by the way, the first one was about shopping, and who the hell needs to actually hear me talk about shopping habits? Frankly I don’t need to hear about anyone’s shopping habits, unless they include slaying mannequins and paying with M&M’s.

God, on days when I speak like this, I really should write a book, it would be a revelation to the world…

You should hear the stuff I talk about Fridays after work on the train home. People must think I was dropped on the head right after birth…twice…and since every year on my birthday.

I hear I’m pretty entertaining though, so I probably all right.

And now pictures, cause I actually did go shopping:

finally spent some money!!

The Virgin Suicides, Wonder Boys (Book & DVD)

The Virgin Suicides, Wonder Boys (Book & DVD)

I’m kinda frustrated though… I haven’t been really shopping in what feels like forever. I always leave the house determined to buy something and then I come back home with nothing. Orders don’t really count though. It doesn’t feel spontaneous, putting something into a virtual shopping cart. Walking up to a counter with something random, opening your wallet and getting change, that’s what shopping is.

At least my bank account is happy about the situation. Well, I’m sure there will eventually be a time where I just buy stuff like crazy, maybe it’s the silence before the storm.

day #12 and #13

Day 12 → Whatever tickles your fancy
Day 13 → A fictional book

kuschelsocken The Catcher in the Rye & The Mysteries of Pittsburgh

I bought those socks today. I’m looking forward to wearing them, because my room is usually super cold in the winter and they are really comfy and warm (and they are ice cream colored!). I believe “Japanese fashion enthusiasts” call stuff made from that fabric モコモコ. Anyway, that’s it for day 12.

And those books I got the last few days. Well, actually yesterday (package from amazon) and today. It’s “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh” by Michael Chabon and “The Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger. I’m probably in an American novel phase.

And that’s day 13 and now I’m up to date! Ha!

filler post~

Reason why I haven’t been posting two weeks ago: first week after holiday, busy with work, not up for posting after work.

Reason why I haven’t been posting last week: super tired from week before.

Reason I haven’t been posting this week: lazyness!

I think I might be doing that meme that’s going around lately, the one where you post one thing a day, like favorite movie, favorite book, etc.

We’ll see…

Woodstock Notebook! Woodstock is really cool...

the proper post I promised got terminated

So I spent the last half hour finding out, what I liked and was obsessed with in 2009.

In the beginning of the year I was still on the wave of my resurrected love for manga/anime. That however changed really, really fast into posts about movies and especially music (lots of bowie there).

Guess what I’m currently really into. The pictures of my recent DVD hunt should be hint enough I think…

Terminator, Terminator 2, Terminator 3 and Terminator 4 (aka Salvation)

Terminator: S.C.C. , Gran Torino and 20th Century Boys

Terminator: S.C.C. , Gran Torino and 20th Century Boys

It’s the Terminator series~! Because it works so well with my love for post-apocalyptic settings in movies and TV shows!
